DiverInterCom KCore Scuba — VPM-B Microbubble Planner V0.2 Experimental

Experimental validation build — VPM-B only. Classic Varying Permeability Model with critical-volume iteration and Boyle-law compensation. No Gradient Factors and no Bühlmann M-value ceiling are used to generate the schedule. This V0.2 build is for research/testing only and is not validated for operational dive planning. VPM-B conservatism and bubble-state diagnostics are exposed to support comparison against independent planners.

Bottom profile

Three optional decompression gases

All deco gases start OFF. Gas switches are explicit and occur only after reaching the configured switch depth.

VPM-B model settings

Conservatism +0 preserves the V0.1 baseline. Levels +1…+4 scale both critical radii by 1.05 / 1.12 / 1.22 / 1.35 respectively, matching the public Subsurface VPM-B conservatism scaling approach. Base radii and λ remain visible for validation work; keep them at their defaults unless deliberately testing the model.

VPM-B bubble diagnostics

Calculate a profile to inspect the 16 compartment bubble-state values.

Engine note: This standalone test engine implements 16 N₂/He compartments, VPM critical nuclei, descent crushing pressure, nuclear regeneration, initial allowable gradients, decompression-zone search, critical-volume iteration, Boyle-law gradient compensation, and staged stop release. It is intentionally separate from the DiverInterCom ZHL-16C/GF planner.
