GF Surface is an additional final-ascent constraint used only after a dive has entered decompression. Set it equal to GF High for the V3.4 baseline. Lower values can extend the final stop without changing GF Low, GF High, tissue kinetics or M-values.

All deco gases start OFF. Switches are explicit: the engine does not automatically choose a richer gas.

Experimental validation control only. These values do not change ZHL-16C tissue kinetics, A/B coefficients, M-values, GF Low or GF High. They add compartment-specific clearance only when testing release from a decompression stop. Keep all four at 0.00 m for the V3.3 baseline.
